Frequently asked questions

Initial answers about the project, app, and Time to Thank experience.

What is Time to Thank?

It is an iPhone app created to help turn gratitude into a small everyday practice through configurable reminders and a simple, welcoming experience.

Is the app already available?

Yes. Time to Thank is already available on the App Store. A new version is being prepared to update and refine the experience.

The notification ends before the Harmonizing Sound finishes. What can I do?

To hear the Harmonizing Sound all the way through while the iPhone is unlocked, set Banner Style to Persistent in Settings → Notifications → Time to Thank. With temporary banners, iOS may stop the sound before it finishes.

If the change does not take effect immediately: on some iOS versions, the setting may not be applied right away. If this happens, turn the iPhone off and back on, then test a new notification. Restarting is a troubleshooting step and may not be necessary on every device or iOS version.
How do the reminders work?

The app offers three configurable daily reminders. Suggested times are 9 AM, 12 PM, and 6 PM, and you can adjust them to your routine.

What is the harmonizing sound?

It is a sound recorded especially for the app with real Tibetan singing bowls, available to accompany your moments of pause and gratitude.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The app does not require an account or login.

Does the app have ads or a subscription?

No. Time to Thank is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, no advertising, and no in-app purchases.

Does the app collect my data?

No. The privacy disclosure currently published on the App Store states that the app does not collect data.

Is there an Android version?

An Android version is in development and will be announced on this website when it becomes available.

Which languages are available?

English and Portuguese. In Portuguese, the app is presented as Time to Thank.
